15 months – 2-Years-Old

Playgroup’s toddler program is designed for children ages 15 to 24 months. To ensure personalized learning and adequate care and attention, we strive to provide your toddler with the most meaningful experiences, along with love and nurture!

We balance the need for consistency, with increased exposure to age-appropriate learning and development games, tools, and activities. We never exceed a teacher ratio of 1 child per 5 teachers.

Yes, we accept children who are still practicing their potty training!

Kids Love to Learn, and We Love to Teach!

We are constantly researching new games and activities that will enhance your toddler’s early education. To keep students engaged, and to ensure that learning is always fun we provide a variety of play options.

Supportive Learning Environment

Playgroup provides a safe and supportive learning environment, and a home away from home designed to develop your toddler’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. To build confidence and self-esteem, we personalize each activity, so it meets the needs of both the group and individual child.

Language and Literacy

Interacting with adults and other children is the most effective way for children to develop their language and literacy skills, which is why communication skills are woven-in throughout the day. We engage with children one-on-one and as a group to practice the sounds letters create when we speak, expand their vocabulary, and increase their confidence in using language to communicate with others. We ask children open-ended questions to encourage creativity, seek meaning, explore the possibilities, and better express their ideas and opinions. Playtime includes storytime, singing, peer-to-peer socialization, games, toys, literacy props, and more.

Creative Learning

Toddlers are full of energy, and we use this to our advantage. We offer stimulating creative play that is as fun as it is educational. We provide free and structured play with games and activities that develop artistic ability, musical ability, gross motor skills, problem-solving skills, cause and effect, and much more!

Daily Communication

We provide daily communication of achievements, changes in behavior, and general day-to-day activities. This ensures that you are apprised of your child’s growth and development, and that we are all working towards a shared vision for your toddler’s early education.
